In “Le Chemin de l'Éveil”, artist Eymard illustrates the quest for enlightenment through three axes: personal, amorous and spiritual. The central figure, serene in meditation, is surrounded by a violet forest, the color symbolizing the peak of enlightenment in meditation. The trees, vibrant with mystical energy, invite us to envisage an awakening beyond the physical, towards the emotional and spiritual. Icons resembling modern hieroglyphics on the left, and the phrase “the path to enlightenment” in Japanese on the right, enrich the work with symbolism and ancient wisdom. Eymard invites us on an inner and universal journey, exploring the depths of the human soul and its quest for a higher state of consciousness where love and spirituality come together.
